Cabbages and ?

IMG_8807

I have been working towards the Kilkenny Art’s Festival, during which I will be exhibiting with a fellow Artist Catherine Rodgers. I’m trying to decide whether these giant cabbages should have a giant caterpillar or giant cabbage butterfly or to just leave them as is. Any suggestions?

I will also be exhibiting in the Kinsale Art Festival, in Engel and Volkers, Estate Agents, 71 Main St, Kinsale, from the 7th July.

  1. I love them as they are. I can't quite picture them with a caterpillar or butterfly. Do you have a piece of acetate to paint on to try it out?

  2. I love this as it is. It's fantastic Phil! And beautifully painted. There is just something about this one. I would never have thought to paint cabbages but it's just right.
